Bancroft Wines to represent Remírez de Ganuza wines in UK
Bancroft Wines, a UK-based wine merchant offering wines to private, trade and corporate clients, is set to represent Spanish wine producer Remírez de Ganuza’s wines in the UK.
The estate wines, which were previously handled by Indigo Wine in the UK, will now be sold by Bancroft Wines to on-trade, independent off-trade and private clients.
Remírez is known for producing blends from vines aged 60yo that are grown at the estate's 68ha vineyard in Rioja Alavesa region of Spain.
Bancroft Wines managing director Neil McAndrew was quoted by Harpers as saying that the company is happy to add the Spanish estate to portfolio.
"Along with many, I have long been an admirer of Fernando's outstanding wines and we are excited to have the opportunity to work with such a prestigious Bodega and reconnect Remírez de Ganuza into the UK market," McAndrew added.
Remírez de Ganuza will debut its new wines at the Bancroft Wines stand at the London International Wine Fair, which is scheduled to take place from 20-22 May 2013 at ExCel, London.

This data report solves these problems by providing survey-based data on consumer trends and consumer groups, and market data that shows the exact size of consumer groups, how much of the Beer, Cider & Pre-mixed Spirits market they account for, and which consumer trends drive their behavior. What is the current market landscape and what is changing? As consumer confidence increases with economic recovery, consumer trends will be directly affected. Since the global financial crisis of 2008–2009 the organized retail market has been characterized by an increase in the amount of discounted and own-brand products. The survey-based data provided in this report examines over 20 consumer trends that affect the market and examines the share of consumption across 26 consumer groups.
