BinWise to introduce new winery product placement dashboard

BinWise, a California-based company that produces cloud-based programs for managing, distributing and tracking of wine, beer and spirits, is to introduce a new winery product placement dashboard - BinWisePlacement - on 31 January 2013.

BinWisePlacement is a cloud-based platform that shows real time wine list placement data publicly on a single dashboard and allows wineries to see on-list and off-list products, producer profile and real time customer contact information. The company collects the public data through its restaurant product RealWineLists.

The platform ultimately allows wineries to improve their efficiency of ordering wine at major restaurants and subsequently market and communicate with restaurant buyers.

BinWise president and CEO Doug Hickey said, "We believe this new technology will allow wineries to more closely manage brand awareness, streamline the three-tier system and provide an open line of communication with key restaurant accounts."

The platform is currently being tested with winery launching partners, which includes Iron Horse Vineyards, Rudd Winery and Miner Family Wines.
