Constellation Brands creates consolidated US distribution model
Constellation Brands, a New York-based wine company with brands across the wine, beer and spirits categories, has created a consolidated distribution model by signing distribution and broker agreements with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), Young's Market, Johnson Brothers and Horizon Beverage in 14 states of the US.
According to the agreement, RNDC will distribute the company's wine and spirits brands in North and South Dakota, while Johnson Brothers will serve as the distributor for wine brands in Minnesota and will continue to be a wholesale dealer for the company's spirits brands in the state.
Young's Market will serve as the broker for wine and spirits brands in Utah and Wyoming; and exclusive broker for spirits brands in Oregon, Idaho and Montana; and exclusive distributor for spirits brands in Washington. It will continue to be the distributor of wine brands in the state.
Horizon Beverage will act as broker for wine and spirits brands in New Hampshire and exclusive broker for spirits brands in Maine and Vermont. It will distribute wine and spirits brands in Rhode Island and full-line of Constellation's brands in Massachusetts.
The consolidated US distribution model will help the company achieve profits and attain organic growth through deeper distributor and broker relationships.
Constellation Brands president and CEO Rob Sands said the signing of these new agreements represents their continued focus on creating efficiencies and developing consolidated points of contact for their distributors and brokers to ensure their products are in the right place and receive the attention they deserve.
