Constellation Brands deploys Hello Vino mobile app

Constellation Brands, a US-based producer and marketer of wine, beer and spirits, has selected Hello Vino mobile app to reach out to more consumers in the northeastern US.

As part of its business strategy, Constellation Brands has introduced its wine brands in the app and will use the push notification and sponsorship features of the app to give wine recommendations to shoppers along with contextual messages.

Having entered into the mobile space in 2011 in California, the drinks firm now targets consumers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Constellation Brands chief marketing officer Chris Fehrnstrom said they are happy to assist shoppers by giving necessary information before buying the wine.

"The Hello Vino mobile app serves as the ideal vehicle to foster a personalized shopping experience and deliver educational content," Fehrnstrom added.

The Hello Vino mobile app is free to download and is compatible with both iPhone and Android mobiles.
