Invivo launches wines in Canada

DBR Staff Writer Published 09 July 2012

New Zealand-based Invivo Wines has made its wines available in Canada, following approval from the Liquor Board in early 2012.

Initially, the winery introduced Sauvignon Blanc in British Columbia and Alberta stores in July 2012 and further plans to roll out in East Coast regions later in 2012, reported Business.Scoop.

As a part of the limited edition launch, the winery has teamed up with New Zealand street artist TMD to design Invivo wine boxes.

The winery has also partnered with Vancouver-based public relations agency Heth PR, which manages the communications for renowned Canadian wine event The Vancouver PIayhouse International Wine Festival.

Invivo Wines co-founder Tim Lightbourne told the website that it is important to hit the ground running and show support to their retailers and create awareness with in-market activity led by the Heth PR team.

Invivo wines are distributed in British Columbia and Alberta by Summit Fine Wines, Crains Crest Wines in Ontario and Agence Benedictus in Quebec.
