WIV Wein expands Pepperi platform deployment across UK and Denmark markets

Wine distribution firm WIV Wein International has standardized on the Pepperi platform for its UK and Denmark markets.

Pepperi, the mobile B2B commerce platform for brands and wholesalers, announced that WIV Wein International AG, the world's leading group of direct wine-selling companies, has standardized on the Pepperi platform for its UK and Denmark markets.

The expansion to new markets follows WIV's successful implementation and deployment of Pepperi to its 500+ field wine consultants in Germany, and realizing - within six months of deployment - impressive efficiency gains in the form of 70% reduction in order-to-delivery times.

WIV has since deployed the Pepperi mobile commerce solution across its Denmark sales operation, within just 10 weeks of implementation start.

Pepperi equips WIV's field sales force with a mobile sales solution that provides them with all the information they need to better consult their customers, provide better service, and improve customer satisfaction.

This includes product information, promotions, upsell and cross-sell recommendations, customer prior purchases, preferences, and buying patterns.

Orders taken by the wine consultants are transmitted electronically from Pepperi to WIV's regional ERP systems -- SAP ECC 6.0 and Microsoft NAV -- for processing and fulfillment, and payment can be accepted on the spot.
